i hate listening to my coworker type. it makes me hate her, even though at other times i consider her a friend. it’s the loudest, fastest, furious typing sound, like she wants to punish the keyboard for existing. there are days when i go to the bathroom just to get a respite from her typing. make it stop.

computer fail
my laptop has crashed. hopefully they will be able to recover all of my photos and music and the spreadsheet where i’ve logged all of my workouts and weekly weigh ins since february. for the past few weeks, i’ve had an alarm set every morning to remind me to back up my computer. if only i’d actually done that…

dear cubs game,
thanks much for all the traffic you produced this afternoon, at the precise time that i was waiting for the ashland bus during a thunderstorm.  it was super fun waiting in the torrential downpour while the bus stood immobile down the street in traffic. awesome.
